Bourbon Milk Punch

This is a perfect daytime drink especially during the Carnival season. Of course, you can enjoy a Bourbon Milk Punch in morning and at night in the Crescent City. However, Bourbon Milk Punch is most commonly served during brunch. Many restaurants and bars have their particular rendition of the Punch. We at Mulate’s put our own spin on this classic New Orleans cocktail.

What You Need

  • 2 cups low-fat milk

  • 2/3 cup half -and-half

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

  • 1 1/4 cups bourbon

  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

  • Freshly ground nutmeg for garnish

How It’s Done

Bourbon Milk PunchIn a pitcher, combine milk, half-and-half, vanilla and bourbon.  Add powdered sugar and stir until blended.  Pour over ice into individual glasses and top with ground nutmeg. This should make about 4 drinks.
