Barbecued Shrimp

Mulate’s gives this New Orleans style dish an extra Cajun touch that will have your family asking for more.  Just make sure you have enough French Bread in the house for dipping. Try Mulate’s Barbecued Shrimp for dinner tonight!

What You Need

  • 3 sticks butter

  • 1/4 cup chopped garlic

  • 2 tsp. Mulate’s Cajun Seasoning

  • 2 lb. 16/20 count shrimp, shells on

  • 1/3 cup Italian breadcrumbs

  • 1 loaf French bread, warmed

How Its Done

Barbecue ShrimpMelt butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Add garlic and seasoning, and stir frequently to make sure garlic does not brown. Cook for five minutes. Add, shrimp, and cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Add breadcrumbs and mix well. Immediately serve shrimp in a bowl with plenty of sauce. Peel and eat shrimp, and use French bread to “sop up” the sauce. This dish serves about four people.
