Mulate's-Mardi-Gras-SauceMulate’s Mardi Gras Sauce

New Orleans is famous for Mardi Gras with decadent floats, blinking beads, and elaborate parades with marching bands. But, we are also famous for our food, especially our sauces. At Mulate’s Cajun Restaurant, we have combined the decadent with our culinary creations with our own famous Mulate’s Mardi Gras Sauce. We toss our New Orleans Golden Friend Popcorn Shrimp in this sauce and make Mulate’s Mardi Gras Shrimp. It is one of our appetizers that we call Crevettes en Sauce Cajun and it is sure to bring that same smile to your face as when you caught that Mardi Gras Blinking Bead. Give the recipe a try below and you can add it to chicken wings or chicken tenders as well.

Story of Mulate’s:

Mulate’s is known as the original Cajun restaurant, famous for preserving and celebrating the food, music and culture found in the small towns and along the bayous of south Louisiana. But the restaurant that prides itself on being true to its roots would never have opened its doors if owner Kerry Boutté hadn’t ventured out of Cajun Country and into restaurants and dance halls of New Orleans, Houston and even Europe. There is a lot to learn about us, so just stop in an experience the original Cajun restaurant.
