The coming days will be wild in New Orleans as the city celebrates Halloween. Before heading out and getting a good scare make sure you grab a bite to eat. Scout Island Scream Park VIP Halloween Party
While most Halloween attraction in and around the city have been scaring you and your family since the end of September, Scout Island Scream Park in City Park has been saving the best for last. The Scout Island Scream Park VIP Halloween Party is happening Friday October 26th or Saturday October 27th from 7pm to midnight. When you get a ticket for the party, you will be able to skip the general admission lines.
The VIP Halloween Party ticket also serves as an Express Pass to all attractions and rides and it’s unlimited! You will get access to the private VIP area with music located behind the Kraken. You will see the Kraken as you enter the Scream Park. There will also be an open bar inside the Kraken. This is a 21+ ticket which will cost $ 99 per person per night. Vampire Ball 30th Anniversary

The ball takes place Friday October 26th, from 8pm to 4am at the Historic New Orleans Board of Trade

Vintage Dancer Masters will give instruction on several Ballroom dances so when those songs play…. join us in dance as we are transported to another time….Dance Cards will be given as a keepsake to record the dances and encourage everyone to mingle and meet some “new blood”
Park-A-Boo
Park-A-Boo is a 3 day Halloween Festival from October 26 through October 28 at Lafreniere Park. The festival is designed for children under 13 years to costume and enjoy the Halloween season. Multiple attractions allow a variety of activities that are age appropriate for families to enjoy together. The Boo House is our version of a not too scary haunted house. Trick or Treat along Treat Street and stop by 10 ”houses” to get a candy treat. Have your face painted: its free. Get a balloon sculpture; its free too! Stop by the Story Tent and listen to a Halloween story. Play any one or all of the 10 games to win a candy treat. They are all free to play. Bring your camera or cellphone to take a photo with any one of the many roaming cartoon characters you will find on the festival grounds. Sing and dance to the music on the Entertainment Stage. Boo-tiful Costume Contests are on stage daily: Friday at 6:30, Saturday at 3:30 and 5:30, and Sunday at 3:30. Register 30 minutes before each contest at the Entertainment Tent. Cost is $5. Every contestant wins a trophy or a medallion. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Menu includes: Domino’s Pizza, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, pickles, soft drinks and bottled waters .Festival grounds are alcohol and smoke free. No pets, please.
