Go Fourth On The River
Head over to the river to watch the free Dueling Barges Fireworks Display along the historic New Orleans Riverfront at 9:00 p.m.. Bring your blanket and chair for a front row seat in Woldenberg Park. This unique salute to America’s Independence will feature a fireworks display from two barges over the mighty Mississippi.
The barges will be positioned on the river between Gov. Nichols St. Wharf and Canal St. Dock. You will be able to see them from both banks of the river. The fireworks show is choreographed to a medley of patriotic songs. This patriotic fireworks display ranks in the top 5 “must see” according to the american pyrotechnics association.
