We can accommodate groups up to 1200 people.
From the Rehearsal Dinner to the ceremony to the reception, Mulate’s can accommodate groups small and large and up to 1200 people. We pay special attention to the details to make your special day perfect in every way. Our event services includes: an on-site event coordinator/logistics manager; an assigned door host/hostess; Chaffing Dishes/Serve-ware, China, Flatware, Glassware, Candles, Linens, Tables, and Chairs; and Buffet Tables covered with Specialty Linens. Upgraded Linen and Décor packages are available. We will also work closely with your wedding planner to design the wedding of your dreams, and we can advise you of some of the quaint Cajun wedding traditions that can be incorporated into your special day.
Our event rooms include: The Teche Room; the Acadia Room; Mulate’s Dining Room; and Mulate’s Cajun Bar.
The Cajun Bar is adjacent to the dining room and accommodates up to 50 guests. This is an excellent venue to welcome family and friends to New Orleans as your wedding weekend begins. Mulate’s Dining Room accommodates up to 600 guests for a New Orleans-style Cocktail Reception with buffet food service. If you prefer to have a sit down dinner instead, up to 300 guests can be accommodated comfortably. The “king of Cajun Dance Halls” is located within the dining room for an authentic Cajun fais do do during your reception. Your guests can learn authentic Cajun dances as the dance to the sweet sounds of a Cajun band. The Teche Room can accommodate up to 250 guests for a cocktail reception or 200 guests for a seated dinner, and the Acadia Room can accommodate up to 75 guests at a cocktail reception or up to 50 guests at a seated dinner. The Teche and Acadia Rooms can be reserved together as well. No other venue in the world can provide you a unique Cajun wedding event all under one roof!
