The market is split up along three category lines: food, art, and flea. Besides all of the great shopping every week, the market also hosts local restaurants serving up their unique cuisine, live music, and a kids area. This Market is a place for neighbors to meet, a place to relax and find a unique item, and an important part of the renaissance on Freret Street. There are over 90 vendors.There will also be pet adoptions and the Big Easy Roller Girls.

Bayou DeVille is a hard working band that includes two generations of home grown talent. Bayou DeVille’s music is equally at home in the byways of rural Louisiana and in the vibrant city of New Orleans. Led by Jonno Frishberg, Bayou Deville plays music for dancing; music with strong roots; music infused with joy; music that is part of a living, breathing tradition.
