Dia de los Elvi Muertos
On Friday, August 19, 2016, starting at 8pm, the Krewe of the Rolling Elvi are having an event at The Willow located at 8200 Willow Street for the Dia de los Elvi Muertos. They are observing the passing of the King in the only way that they know how with cool costumes, cold beer and of course hot music. There will be ultra-cool ultraviolet effects that will make makeup look spooky and fabrics glow. The live entertainment includes WFAM, The Unnaturals and Clockwork Elvis. All of this fun is only $5 cover to enter the party. The Rolling Elvi were founded in 2003 to honor the King of Rock & Roll while entertaining New Orleans Parade goers. Since then, they have continued to entertain New Orleans at parades but also at these really fun events.
The Dia de los Elvi Muertos is sure to be a lot of fun, but you should go prepared…with a full stomach. Stop into Mulate’s Cajun Restaurant and begin you night right, with a great meal. You are sure to have an unforgettable evening.
